That weird ('n'wonderful?) thing is one of George Barris' creations, 
doing a bit of a tour with some of his other cars from what I gather. 
I've got some more pics that show its name - I'll have a look later (I'm 
at work at the mo).

If you can send some dry weather, would you like some of our wet stuff 
in exchange? There's large areas here under water (worst floods for 100 
years) that have plenty to spare....
