AutoInstruments

I sent them my speedo to get redone; spoke to the owner, Gentry. For
$175 they would take it apart and completely rebuild it with all new
parts. When I didn't get it, I called and was told by Gentry that it
was getting done right then, and he was intructing a newbie on how to do
it, by "overseeing" him. Worse, when I got it back, it was all the same
parts, only cleaner. I called Gentry and he told me they didn't need to
replace any parts. However, we had very clearly agreed that he would
replace all the internals, before I ever sent it to him. He remembered
that, but so what?

Bottom line: I paid $175 for a trainee to clean my speedometer.
AutoInstruments won't get any more work from me.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
