Borge and beck style systems are what the car is meant for anyway. A lot of times you can get the borge and beck pressure plates rebuilt for very little cost. For instance I sent in a hays plate to be rebuilt and it only cost $50. It was a $400 kit to begin with. I don't know of any diaphragm plates that can be rebuilt.
