RE: Overcome by Moparitis

Gentleman, I may have come across one sided. I, like you guys, understand the importance of the give and take. My better half gets the Deer in the headlights look as well and laughs like she's watching the Bugs Bunny / Road Runner show when she goes to the strip. It amazes her to see Snow Mobiles, bikes, cars of all kinds, race. ... but it was the Jet cars that got the, "Wyle Fu!#$^g Coyote!" comment.

Her new car is parked in the driveway along side my Merc because only the '64 Dodge (List Content) is allowed in there. She knows this and doesn't bat an eye when I'm heading out there to work on it. She understands and supports the fact that building my car is my goal, dream, zen thing... For Christmas and such, she buys me parts and pieces for the car. She recognizes all that goes into rebuilding a car and admires ...and is baffled at the same time. It's something she has said is amazing, "how you can remember where all those pieces go?". She's would be most excited to see the finished car, so showing her the finished welds, body work or front end rebuild gets that deer in the head lights look, yet she knows what it means to me and is excited for me. She encourages me everystep of the way. So my strategy of going to the Ballet or what not with her, is ok by Me because it seems to be working juuuust fine.
