Right now I have it hooked up like Figure 1 WITH the ballast resistor still in place...so essentially the red wire would be hooked up to the left of the ballast resistor in figure 2. I'll be the first person to admit that I don't know squat about electrical anything. So I'm wondering if I'll burn anything up like it is now.
