Nick,
Does your engine have a vacuum connection for the pcv on the rear side 
of your intake manifold?   If so, you should swap it for one that has 
the hose connection to the pcv plus a small connection for the heater 
vacuum hose.   These show up occasionally on eBay, or one of the members 
here may have a spare he can sell you.
