You guys might laugh at me, but I've fixed cars that ran a little too 
hot with a new, 16 lb radiator cap.  One car had a 7 lb cap, and the 
other wasn't much higher, if I recall.  BTW, I had a 1964 (I think) 
Plymouth dealer brochure that listed in fine print what a "towing 
package" was.  The difference in cooling was merely a 16 lb radiator 
cap.
