Re: Slant Six

Slants after 69 or so were painted blue; those prior to that were painted red.

Hi all,
Just got back from looking at my "new" slant six. We were not able to locate the block numbers.

But did decode the fender tag which did match the vin number and everything matched what was there. The engine compartment is in great shape and we are assuming (vicious word) that it is the original engine too. It is painted red and that is the original paint. We were able to turn the engine over also. It is in a 73 Duster that is in fantastic shape.
The vehicle came with factory air and power steering so I have the brackets for the power steering. Still willing to swap out my p/s box for a manual box if any one is interested. (65B-Body)

Going to pull my motor and trans next week and he will do the same.

My 65 Petty Race Car has made another step forward.
