Chrysler of Canada liked to gently slide its buyers into new names. Thus the base Savoy name was also used in 1965 and became the Fury I for 1966. Dodge did the same with the 330 series carried into 1965 and called Polara for 1966.

Chrysler's mid series in 1962 was still the Saratoga, which became the Saratoga 300 for 1963. Three years later the 'Saratoga' was finally dropped and became just "300". The brand new 1960 Polara was sold as being "... in the Custom Royal tradition".
