RE: power steering pumps

Both pumps have specific mounting brackets that are not interchangeable.
You should also note that the pulleys may be very different in
diameter, and I don't think they are interchangeable between the
two--but they might be. Check the pulley's offset, as well, as I've had
some that didn't quite line up with the crank pulley I was using, and
this can chew up belts. On big blocks, I much prefer to use a complete
pulley and bracket setup off the same car. Small blocks are much easier
to mix and match these parts.

I prefer the Saginaw as they seem to leak less from the cap, and the
dipstick is nice. But I've had great luck with both types. You can use
either pump with your, or any, Mopar power steering box.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
