Thats what I was talking about! Most shops these days (especially body shops) don't want to mess with anything that isn't quick money and inconvienient. I took my heater core from my '63 Fury a few weeks ago to a radiator shop that has been in business for over 50 years and they recored mine for $50, you can't tell the difference now from a new core.

problem is w the heater core is the copper core is so pricey
lately...i see them for sale on ebay...
