Re: Choke thermostat source?

Yipes!! I've contacted several sources for a choke thermostat. I only
found one place that has one and it's $500. Anyone have any clever ideas?
It's a choke thermostat for a 1963 4 Barrel intake manifold for 361/383. The
part # is 2205968. Carb is a 1965 Carter AFB 3858S. I'm replacing the
stock two barrel on my 383 with a 4 barrel.

Can I convert the existing 2 barrel thermostat? Can I convert the carb's
divorced choke to integral or electric?

As always, thanks.
