Re: manual to power window conversion for 64 b-body

There are aftermarket kits, specific to Mopar -- and generic kits too; (search Google for power window conversion kit).

http://www.a1electric.com/mopar.htm is a Mopar example. Typical, they only list back to 1966. If you can get measurements from them you can see if their conversion kit will fit your 1964.

http://www.gdbodykits.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=PWC24&Show=TechSpecs is another Mopar kit.

Some vendor advertised in the Mopar mags but I don't recall if it was one of the above 2.

By the way, http://tvmoparclub.com/2008/01/diy-power-windows/ is a low budget approach via the Tennessee Valley Mopar Club. :)

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
