When all us Mopar guys are gone...

I don't know what Gary's retrieval capabilities are for old postings, but I've saved all of them for the last two years. My son and his son will be even less knowledgable about our old cars than I am, and I owned a 64 Sport Fury in 64. The postings are a treasure trove of valuable information, source material, troubleshooting techniques, and reference material that they will be able to draw upon when I'm long gone.

Because I use Outlook, I can keep building my archive, but there is no GOOD built-in way to export  the old notes into a quickly useful format. What I have to do is open the archive and do word searches. This works best anyway, as a number of message threads start out as one thing, then morph into other subjects without the SUBJECT header changing.

Regardless, having all this information will someday be more of a resource to those who come behind us than they are even to us now. So, thanks for participating and posting.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
