Subject: Pentastar

After having the rust repair done on my 63 SF I have to re-locate my
Pentastar emblem. I measured Rich Kinsley's placement, which was just
forward of centered between the wheel well opening and the rear edge of
the fender. Seems to me that before the resto work, mine was to the
rear of center. Was this an arbitrary placement? This is a fairly
trivial thing given that my car is not a stock resto but just the
same........
Also, I sent some molding clips to Restoration Specialties for them to
match. I got a call today and they are unable to match any of them.
They had one which I will have to trim to fit, but can anyone point me
to another vendor to try? I'm also getting some things from Gary Goers
but he doesn't show these type clips in his catalog.
