Wow...we are showing off our ages here....I remember putting one in my 64 Pontiac GP, 421, 4 speed, with my 8' whip listening to WLS cruising State St Jackson, MS. I had it made till some Mopar started messing with me! Smart enough then to back out and just listen to the reverberated tunes....

I remember building one and installing it in my '64 Dart. When you hit a
bump they would reverb too :-) It used a spring to make the reverb.

Does anyone remember the optional Reverberator Systems that Chrysler
used to put in their cars before the advent of stereo? And (about) when
did stereo take over making reverberation obsolete?

Where these meant to operate on both AM and FM frequencies?

Would this prehistoric system still function in today's world of all
digital, sometimes stereo radio transmissions or using a modern MP3
player for instance also loaded with digitally pre-recorded music?

Thanks for your knowledge,
Dave
