Re: police pursuit

In 1986, I bought out a dealer of Mopar and Ford NOS parts here in the desert of Calif and a friend of mine with me, bought two 426 wedge engines that had a 2 inch hole in both #6 cylinders. The dealer said they were in Custom 880's and were Highway Patrol cars. The year specific, I do not remember. I know he does not have them as of today. Gone some years ago. joe machado

Does anyone know for sure, if in 1963, they put a 426 wedge in the police pursuit models? Thanks, Harry
