Re: What oil? Rotella T?

There has been a lot of discussion about this in the Forwardlook Forum My research has convinced me that diesel oils and racing oils are not a good choice for daily driven cars where it may be 2-3000 miles between oil changes. Choose any esily obtainable car formulated oil-synthetic if you wish, and add high conentrate additive of ZDDP. GM EOS additive is not enough for 2-3000 miles. ZDDPlus is what I use, but now there are other brands that will work too...............MO

Subject: What oil? Rotella T?

Any new opinions on the best oil to use in our old cars?

I recall there was some discussion a while back regarding Rotella and
whether or not the formula changed. Is Rotella T Triple Protection
still a good choice? Is there less ZDDP than there used to be and
should some be added? FRAM filters?

How about synthetic? I think I recall Don Dulmage was not a fan and
thought it wasn't 'springy'.

As always, thanks.
