Yup, and I had to do the exact same thing....I honed out the holes for
a tight fit and bolted them down.  Works awesome, and you really don't
have to do much "drilling out".  I used a dremel and a burr bit as
well as a small round file to get it perfect....took me about 30
minutes.....
