That makes me feel a bit better.

I installed the new 4-hole 1" phenolic spacer last night and that
didn't seem to make any appreciable difference.

I'm wondering if I'd have more luck with either my 600 CFM Holley or
600 CFM Edelbrock - maybe this BG carb is just a bit too big?
