with the inner door panel still removed and the window down you can get behind the old whiskers and pry them off they just sit in little square holes in about 8 spots acrooss the door lip and depending on the ones you get mine had the little tits on them and they just snap right back in the square holes that you pryed the old ones out of however my buddy  got some that werent like the originals had no tits on the back and he had to pop rivet his to his door i would think legendary would send you factory correct ones thoungh i bought my door panels from legendary but purchased my whiskers from a different source on epay for 89 bucks and they are perfect reproductions had countersunk indents with little phillp screws to attach to the inner panel and the proper springy clips to pop in the holes on the door skin lip itself hope this helps its not to hard a project but very nice addition to your doors when done keepss from scratching the glass
