Loooong rams in a B?

My friend Jimmy and I were both under the impression that the long rams would not fit in a B-body 
engine compartment without modifying the inner fenders, but these pictures seem to refute that notion.

Has anyone here done the swap or know how these intakes snuggle into the 62-65 B Body engine compartment?
