I know how the bracket attaches to the intake and I can see where the
stud threads into the bell housing.  What I can't figure out is if I
need the shorter rod with the slot, or what it is for.  The diagram
shows what the setup should look like with a 361 / 4 barrel.  This is
completely different.  I haven't tried to bolt the whole thing onto
the car yet, it was the last thing I looked at this evening and I
didn't like diving into it with both feet yet.  I can see that I'm
going to have to modify where the throttle cable attaches.  It will
need to be similar to the old setup.
