Cory,

My guess is it's your torgue converter.  In my 440 witha bit of a cam
when I switched from 4 speed to manual it dogged really bad.  Went to
a higher stahl and it made a great improvement.  I would call someone
like jegs or summit and ask about a converter that works with your
cam.
