Nobody said that, but what I did say as they help to dissipate the heat. I've seen brake fluid boil in a master cyl before...in a 66 Dodge Dart come to think of it. I'm sure that rocks don't fly up in GM cars engine compartment much by the master cyl., so why else do they put them on the lines off the master cyl?
