Sound is definitely a personal judgement call,,,,I personally would want
the pipes to be a very minimum of 2 1/2 inch, seems like the smaller pipes give
a cackling sound versus a rumble, as far as mufflers go I would talk to the
exhaust shop that is going to be doing the work and find out what they like to
work with and what their recommendations are for your
application
