Re: Radiator

I was wondering the same thing. When I had my new radiator built, they tried to sell me aluminum, but I insisted on copper. The manufacturers made them from copper for a reason.

Ollie,  I'm curious why, if having one built you had them do aluminum
rather than copper?  The High Efficiency 3-row and 4-row cores
available these days in copper outcool the comparable aluminum core
and have longer longevity.

I had a shop in CA that had built 2 radiators for me in the past but due to their long lead time and other things I decided not to do business with them again. I have found a new shop to make my radiator. They have been excellent so far. I will keep you guys posted as to my results.
