Re: Superbird Camper (Was Headers)

Haha - actually, there seems to be an interesting story behind it.  It's said that the owner was confined to a wheel chair and had the car customized to accomodate his chair.  That back panel folded down to a ramp - the pics show the bumper was cut and hinged for this.  Check it out at this site:  http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/25556188.cfm

OMG,I think that is a excellent reason for justifiable homicide!!!!!WHO in their right mind would ever consider doing that to a "winged" car???

Well, there is this photo of a Superbird with a camper mounted on the back.  Maybe it could use some cabinets. :-)

The reference to shelving or cabinets is more contemporary. An older meaning is "The act of fitting" http://machaut.uchicago.edu/?resource=Webster%27s&word=fitment&use1913=on

Kitchen cabinets in an art car Dart would work though. :)

Thanks,
