I'm kind of leaning toward the Accurate LTD system that both Gary and Ruth mentioned.
At least it seems like a good idea to go with something that replicates the engineers'
original resonator type design....a little noise and power/torque gain, but conservative
enough for everyday use.

Fitting could be an issue on the A body, I don't know. The Hemi Super Turbo muffler is 4-1/4" tall x 9-3/4" wide x 20" long. http://www.jegs.com/p/Dynomax/Dynomax-Hemi-Super-Turbo-Mufflers/744700/10002/-1

As I think I posted, check with the manufacturer about how they identify "street sound" versus "sport sound" series of mufflers.  You want to buy what Walker labels as a street sound if I understand you correctly.
