More throw or travel in the other or outer hole. When the throttle is floored you want the carb fully open and the transmission linkage as far back as possible.  It should shift at 25 & 35 under normal acceleration.

So I have two holes on my pivot rod arm (my name for it).

I'm guessing one will put more travel in the linkage but I can't

figure out which position will give more or less.
