Re: Re: 1962 Newport Update

Thanks for the feed back on the color.  I know I'm going to love it.  It will be the only one that I know of.

This weeks update,  All the bondo was removed from that rear pass quarter.  We don't under stand why there was SOOOOO much bondo used to repair the panel.  The dents were very minor, and easily removed.  The panel looks very nice now, He said it needs to come out as a whole a bit more, but at least it's straight now.

The Eng/Trans sub frame is to be out tomorrow and at my house.  I can't wait to get to play with it too.  I have to have the sub frame up on 4 saw horses as I can't bend down to play with it for hours.  Should make doing the new bushings and rebuilding the front end easy as well as restoring the rest of the cradle.  And it will be black and not painted the same as the car.  I can then get the tranny to the shop for  a reseal and I can work on resealing the motor and cleaning it up so it looks like new even though it's old.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
