Re: engine paint

It is OK however working on the engine I did not think it held up as
well as I would have liked to gasoline and solvents. The last time I
had the intake off I painted it with Mopar's rattle can paint and now
I have a couple of shades of paint on the engine. I have been told
that Bill's is more of the correct color.

Next time I do an engine or have the 383 out of my Sport Fury I'm
going to try this paint:

I know Eastwood can be over priced but if anyone has used their
ceramic engine paint I would be interested in their thoughts. I would
like it to be sturdy by I am also concerned that the hardener will
give it too much gloss.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
