Re: Mopar Movies

Close. 1962 Plymouth & 1963 Dodges.

On the Beverly Hillbillies there was a "Goof (continuity error): In a number of season one and season two episodes, location/establisher footage showed Jane Hathaway's first car, a 1962 Plymouth convertible, but in some cases the scene would immediate cut to a close up of her arriving in a 1963 or '64 Dodge."

"Goof (continuity error): In the opening shot of Miss Hathaway and Mr. Drysdale driving onto the Clampett's mansion, they are in a 1963 Dodge convertible (without a visible fish sticking out the back). In the next shot, they pull up inside a 1964 Dodge convertible with the fish (a stuffed tarpon) prominently sticking out the back of the car." -- http://sharetv.org/shows/the_beverly_hillbillies/goofs

Some of the cars -- Mopar and otherwise -- are shown on

Also, there was a 1963 500 in The Munsters tv show, but only a minor role.

Which, like several of the previous links, comes from a cool Web site called Internet Movies Cars Database, (thanks for the reminder Nick!).

There is also an older set of 62-65 Movies references in the middle of this page.

Note also the videos listed there at the "Historic Video Archives" site suggested by 62-65 List member
Douglas Sutherland.

And a bunch of scenes from "Two Lane Blacktop" here:

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
