 Thanks George, I never even thought about my FSM having shifter info in it.  I am thankful for the 62-65 Nopar website and all the good folks of the mail list 8-).......................MO

it does make a difference which end the shift rod is connected. The FSM has a great pic aand instructions on how to adjust. Hooked my reverse rod wrong the 1st time.

Thanks for the input.  Mike- Your pics look like my instructions
except the reverse rod is  turned end for end.  I doubt it will make
any difference, but it could be a clearance issue.  I will check that
out and  I have thought about another possibility. I will post
