Re: Poly 4 bbl (was RE: Happy Thanksgiving)

Around 15 years ago I had a chance to by a 57/8 dont remeber exactly Plymouth 4 door with a dual quad 318, or at least a dual quad poly engine. Said it was a sherriffs car when new. Anyway it had dual quads and exhaust in a 4 door. At the time my daily ride was a 70 Runner 440 4 speed that ran 11.80s  on the street, so I passed on it as a 4 door slug with no real idea what i was looking at.  Should have paid more attention to the rusty 64 aluminum  4 speed car I also passed on. Live and learn.

You got lucky and someone did you a favor! :) No factory 4bbl 318 option in 1962 Plymouths.

Thanks,
Gary H.
