Re: Pertronix

Hello Again,

As to the spare issue I did have problems but mine was first run of
the Pertronix billet distributor. It did not leave me stranded but it
was causing a minor misfire at low speeds.

I did a long trip from San Diego back to Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma
and Kansas to visit family. Among other tools I carried the spare
standard distributor, coil, ballast resistor and timing light. As it
turned out it was not needed but I did use the spare alternator I also
carried.

Take Care
Dennis
