Re: Pentastar

Actually, MO, there's no clip on mine either. There's just 2 holes, one larger than the other, that the 2 posts on the emblem fit into. The larger post (in the center of the back of the emblem) has a ^ shape to the top area, and just pops into place in the fender. I believe mine is an original pentastar emblem as the car has not been re-painted in that area....until now.

Darwin is right. there is a little clip (circular) that pushes into a
hole. It has spring tension fingers that a pin with no threads fits
into The tension on the trim pins keeep it in place. No nuts needed.
For places where getting to the inside to install nuts is
impractical.......................MO

Thanks, Herb. Fortunately, the holes are already in the fender, so it's just a matter of getting the right nut and installing.

Can someone tell me what kind of fastener holds the pentastar to the fender?

Thanks,
