On my '64 Dodge 330 wagon, the only way to open the rear window is the crank handle on the outside of the back door. It looks like a handle but if you pull it opens up into a crank handle. Once the window is open the tailgate is opened with the handle that is on the inside. If any of the upscale models are much different if they have an electric window, I have no idea if they have the same crank or not. However, if all else fails, there are access panels on the inside of the tailgate that can be removed
