Re: Issue with suspension rebuild

Great news Tim, I never saw anything like that happen.  It is getting so, that every time I get parts- especially away from home, I will open the box and make sure it is what I want- before  I pay for it. Aggravates parts people, but with ordering mistakes, wrong parts in the correct box and  so many other things that go wrong , I don't want to make another return.............................MO

Thanks everyone for your replies!  I really appreciate it.  I replaced every bushing in the front end, strut rod bushings, tie rods, ball joints, lower & upper control arm bushings & new shocks.  I cleaned all the parts to make sure there were no damaged parts prior to installation.

So anyways, I took the tire back off & checked to make sure everything was tight & right, and everything was.  Well after most the day I believe that the bushings in the upper control arm maybe were the wrong ones or no good.  The adjusting bolts that hold the upper arm on wiggle in the bushings.  They are not the eccentric bushings, just the standard ones, but the hole of the bushings is about double the size of the bolt.  Well I pressed out the "old" new ones & put in with some moog bushings.   The bolts fit fairly snug & now the issue is gone.  Just to be safe I replaced the other side bushings as well & 2 of the 4 had bigger holes in the middle.  So probably case of wrong part or defective?  I did have to get them at different stores since they didn't have all 4 in stock so thinking this is why.  I took them back & they said they should be correct but were dumbfounded as to why 2 of the 4 were different.   He pulled a few & sure enough they the smaller hole.  He said he had no idea if it was the wrong part or just defective..  Seems crazy that just this little part could cause it but hey I am not going to argue!  haha.. Got it aligned & it rides so smooth!

Thanks again everyone for your help!
Tim
