I would highly recommend Firm Feel for your power steering box for the following reasons;
 
Quality rebuild
Several “Stages” of firmness to choose from that totally eliminate the steering-wander feel
Your car is worth it
 
I installed their Stage II in my 340 car and the power steering is perfect now – absolutely no steering wheel slop (yeah, no leaks after four years...) and it really is a pleasure to drive now.

I agree. You get what you pay for. Got mine from Firm Feel several yrs ago and it was in the 250-300 then.

Going to a salvage yards tomorrow to get an power steering gear box for an
exchange core.  What years can I use?

The current one leaks and I want to hold onto it for a future rebuild. (proper
date code). Steer and Gear wants $400 for a rebuild and I can get a Cardone
rebuild for about $165 with core.
