Re: 413 Value?



I'm from Ne. and didn't realize prices were like that. I had heard those industrial engines like that didn't run on on gasoline but ran on propane? That and the blocks are beefed but I don't know that either.

Supposedly, the 413 industrial blocks were 440 castings, i.e. there's enough meat in the cylinder walls to bore them out and build a 440 with them. I have such a block from a motorhome, but haven't found out how far it will go so i can't confirm this, but that might be why they were picked up for that price.
