Hello---If you're not building a lot of power you can use your original drive shaft as it is even if the U-joints are mismatched. Any good auto parts store will have new u-joints that have two different sized bearing caps just for this purpose. So you would end up with two bigger ones and two smaller ones to match up to your application.
