Re: George Smith's '64 Polara 500

Mo,  the vac gauge attaches to the driveside port which is what they call "unported"? Supposed to be full vac all the time. I'm not sure what his fuel pump is but the pressure gauge was stuck on 7psi.  We swapped gauges and I got it adjusted down to 5&1/2 - 6psi.  It is very important not to put too much pressure to the Eddy's.  Yes his is a 750 manual choke model.

George, your Dodge is top notch with me. You have a car that should make you proud. I would like to take a ride in it someday.

Rich, how much pressure was there, to bend the floats? I am guessing an Eddy? And what fuel pump? How much pressure was it regulated to?  Where do you plug in your vacume guage? I hope to be putting the super tune to mine soon-- I never tried your method before. ................................MO

George brought his Polara over today and we set up his tune. The floats were bent a bit from too much pressure and we got the regulator adjusted.  The timing was way too low also and we tuned it by vac gauge and rpm to get the timing right.  It's in the 14deg advanced area now.  It starts easier and the vac is higher and more stable.  It's running 11-13ish at about 900rpm+

Here's some pics of the day.
