Another list member tried to find the bearing for '62-'64 727, and thought he had the right one from careful measurement, but the item he bought turned out to still be slightly off size (by thousanths if I recall correctly) and would not work.  Unless you have reason to believe that your transmission has been changed, if it has the ball-and-trunnion output then you may not find a listing for that bearing at the parts stores.  I would probably try Pat Blais ("t'flite patty's shop mart" is their eBay store) or Rick Allison (A&A Transmission in Camby Indiana which is between Mooresville and Indianapolis).  Pat is helpful and happy to do business through email or eBay, Rick has a retail sales crew full time at his shop and stocks all kinds of torqueflite parts and upgrades as well as max wedge and race hemi repro parts.

So, what kind of transmission do i have, why does it have a bearing and not a bushing, and how/where do i find the parts it needs.
