Yes the '64 Plymouth had a 1965 904 from a Barracuda in it now. Besides the comb, there is the question of shifter cables. The cable travel of the console shifted '65 is different I think. If I recall correctly the '65 uses different shifter cables than a '64 Belvedere.
Another option is find a 1962-1964 LA TorqueFlite and use that. The Plymouth had a slant 6 before. Will the Slant 6 shifter cables work with a 318 and TorqueFlite?
