Dan is dead on!  Did you do double flair's?  Inspect that you do not have hairline cracks in your flair's, because you should never use thread sealant on a flared fitting.  The tubing from China is cheep and of inferior quality and will crack double flaring it.  I spent the $$ and got the tool from Eastwood with excellent results! http://www.eastwood.com/professional-brake-tubing-flaring-tool.HTML#

Hey Lyle,
I have had no leaks whatsoever with the use of it and used no type of sealant on the joints. I will, of course, report back if I experience any problems down the road.

I can't stress the importance of perfect double flares enough. In my experience, an "almost perfect" double flare will leak. I'm certainly not being critical of anyone with this comment! I couldn't even create a "half decent" double flare with the bar type tool that we've all had for years... maybe didn't practice enough. Highly recommend the inline tool!
