He should be receiving the Blackout Deep Freeze manifold and valve covers from the coater any day... They were shipped from CA...

Just a note to ask how Bruce is coming getting a new manifold on a running engine for the dyno?

Thanks Gary! Gary and I have had the pleasure of brainstorming and ultimately creating the new Poly SS-X 4 barrel 'WindTunnel' manifold for the Poly... It’s a dual plane-state of the art-off idle to 6500 torque monster and will change the world's impression of the Poly forever. Gary has worked very closely with the foundry in Bell Gardens CA to make the application an almost direct bolt on clearancing hoods and has handed the baton off to me-temporarily-due to huge family challenges... I'm sitting here at the foundry nursing the final details and finished products-today I'm visiting the coater who will apply the 'deep freeze' thermal barrier options to both the manifold and the valve covers... Hopefully later on or tomorrow I will visit the polisher and nail down final arrangements and agreements as neither Gary nor I can chase the manifold or valve covers from the foundry to the machine shop to the coater to the polisher and then to the customer on a daily basis... Thanks for everyones' patience as we finalize the logistics and get them delivered to all pre-orders as well as new customers...
In two weeks Bruce Toth of Toth Performance in PA will be dynoing the new parts so hold your breath for about a 100hp once Bruce gets a cam and his hi-flow heads installed and tuned!!! Long may the Poly reign!!!!

Good to have you aboard Roland!

Guys, you will find Roland a "living" time capsule of knowledge and experience of these great Racers and Mopar racing program peoples as you can see from his post below. Roland's Chrysler Power Magazine is the epitome of how a magazine should present itself and if you have seen or read it you know the value of which I am speaking; excellent no-bull articles, no pandering to advertisers, superb photography...and when thumbing through the pages you know you're handling a magazine and not flyweight paper like other mags I used to subscribe to.

That being said, I know from our conversations that he will be creating a Poly specific "community" and you will see an enlargement of this one facet of our hobby. So look forward to great things happening in the future for our "Polyheads" and Mopar enthusiasts in total!

Gary Pavlovich

I'm 'fresh' here guys so bear with me as I learn the ropes... It's an honor to be part of your group-I've had everything from an original 62 MaxWedge Sport Fury 4speed that I let my son drive to high school in the early 90's to a '65 426 Street Wedge 4speed Sport Fury I gave to Dan Lewandowski at Direct Connection in the early 80's plus about 50 more fun things I've been blessed to be a part of... Bruce Caldwell from Car Craft and I sold Pete Haldiman the Dick Landy car that he has today in 1977... All that said, we'd love to have YOUR stories for Chrysler Power-cool pictures and your story of the headaches and heartaches, trials and triumphs of creating your own special vehicle-pride & joy... also would like to keep our readers informed on any activities as Jeff Johnson and I plus a number of the originals are attempting to bring back a lot of the 'way it was' before the greed and feeding frenzy of the 90's+ soured the original vision of family friendly Mopar activites for the fun of it-(if you know what we mean?)...
Thanks,
Roland

Welcome Roland. I wish to again thank you for helping me with my 66 Charger project in the 90's. I was stationed in England and need a set of heads for the 440. You were so kind to ship them to the APO when no one else would saving me well over $300. I know you also sold them to me at your cost. They have been on the engine for 24 years now and have been trouble free.
