They had those /6 plastic models with an electric motor to make it run with lights for the spark plugs.  That would be so much for to build and have on my desk.  There were or are v8 ones too.  I had forgotten about such things.  I'll have to get a /6 and V8 one day when I have extra cash floating around.  It would be so fun!

Truth stranger than fiction: Five Chrysler flathead-six engines were geared to a comon crankshaft to make a 30-cylinder tank engine. There's one of them in the (defunct, last time I checked) WP Chrysler museum in Auburn Hills, MI.
