Re: T-stat housing issue

How do you order one for a mopar and get one for a yugo.  can they not read. Heard of people ordering disc brake rotors for and Imperial and getting one the fits a Toyota. What gives.

I got the housing from Summit and it is too small???  It's a Summit # FSS-84837 and is a Four Seasons from China. (Go figure)  I'm out about $19 total. I would've thought about all the housings were the same in size but vary in hose position.  Not so apparently. Maybe this is for a Yugo. It is listed as a "stock" unit. The bolt centers are 2&7/8", the hose fitting is 1&1/2" and the inner portion of the t-stat opening is 1&11/16" while the outer portion is 2&3/16".

I wonder if the LA engines have this smaller size???  I certainly did not believe that to be the case. Anybody know what this might fit? If anyone wants to buy it let me know. I can return it.
