Re: Air conditioning.

Hello,

Here is the link if it works:

http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performance-Products/JEGS-Remote-Mount-Electric-A-C-Compressor/3151133/10002/-1&?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20150401email

It looks interesting however it is a 12 volt compressor.  This eliminates running refrigerant lines to the rear however being 12 volts the current draw is very high.  This is not a problem however it will require a high amperage alternator.  This would also require a total upgrade of the electrical distribution system with the proper size wire going to the rear with current protection.  A large alternator will totally fry the electric system in our old cars if the original wiring is not protected properly with fuses or fusible links.

There are many good articles on problems with our electrical systems.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
